Well...

Whenever life is pretty boring - I have plenty of time for blogging / communicating with any friends/family who are living anywhere else...

If life is interesting - it's bloody busy... but no more - we gotta get the two together - even if it is just to keep me out of the mental hospital (assuming that they have one here - the main facility for people with mental health problems I know around here is called the 'army' - no offence - carrying a gun around here isn't the top of my list of things I wanna do)...

Today was one of *those* days. It's Friday (weekend day here) - wake up at 12:00 after a damn busy week... no electricity after 15mins. OK - no problem - I'll start the generator. I pull the cord a couple times and then the cord breaks...

No problem - we can try the generator repair shop - it's Friday - it's closed. No problem - I can go to my friend's office on the other side of town - the wireless router I brought isn't working...

And then - the power there goes too... Well... damn it... so then we go with the guard who apparently isn't sure how to start this massive apparently 20year old Indian generator. Well - we get it started - and half an hour after that - power is back...

So by the time we can actually get started - well - it's like 10:30pm...

*Normally* we have a big battery in the office that prevents any of this being a problem. Unfortunately it recently expired and needs replaced. That just graduated from the important list to the damn important and bloody urgent list. Amazing - the power was fine for days - but as soon as you need to get something done - it knows...

But hey - some cool stuff got done:

Our email server is automatically checking itself every 5 mins. Ever noticed when some email mysteriously disappeared because someone else thought it was spam? Sucks doesn't it? All our servers are checked every 5 mins to make sure nobody thinks bad things about us...

Our website creator system that lets you create a website in a nice professional template only knowing MS word has had some bug fixes - makes sure that you can click links into new windows and some more work to allow background images remains...

So I will try to update this a bit more - I will even try to write stuff that won't put you guys to sleep... no promises on the second one...
